Wakefield Trinity v Castleford Tigers preview and 21-man squads

WAKEFIELD TRINITY head coach Daryl Powell has made just one change from the 21-man squad that went to Bradford Bulls last weekend and won.

Max Jowitt, who has found game time limited during the 2026 Super League season so far, returns to the squad in place of forward Jordan Williams.

Joe Westerman dropping out to make it a 20-man squad for the Tigers is the only change for Ryan Carr’s side from the one that stunned Leeds Rhinos last weekend.

Trinity have lost just once in their last five games against Castleford, with the most recent fixture between the two sides ending in a 48-6 drubbing at the Magic Weekend.

In fact, Wakefield have the chance to go joint top – if only for two days – if they beat the Tigers.
