Walker set for Rovers return after charge

Chris Chester has confirmed front-row Adam Walker will be available for selection ahead of Sunday’s clash with Warrington.

Walker was given the week off after being charged with two offences of attempting to engage in sexual activity with a child.

He missed the 16-16 draw with Castleford, however Chester is prepared to recall him for Rovers’ clash with the Wolves.

“Adam Walker will come back into the reckoning,” Chester told the Hull Daily Mail.

“He had a week off last week and we’re pleased to have him back.

“He makes a big difference to this team in terms of what he offers on the field out there and it will be good to have another big front-rower available.”
