Shaun Wane insists he has not considered the possibility of joining the England coaching staff.
Wayne Bennett was named as the new head coach of the national team last week, replacing Steve McNamara.
There has been no information released about Bennett’s coaching staff, however Wane has been touted as a potential assistant to the Australian.
However, the Wigan head coach played down those links.
“I’ve honestly not thought about it,” he told Wigan today.
“All my focus has been on reviewing the Catalans game and preparing the players for Friday night (against Huddersfield).
“Nothing to do with England has even crossed my mind.”
