Wane reveals RFL have admitted video ref errors against Leeds

Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane has revealed that he has spoken to the RFL about the video refereeing decisions which had a major influence on their loss at Leeds last week.

The Warriors trailed 20-4 at the break at Headingley last week before only just losing out to the league leaders, and Wane has said he spoke to the powers that be about several controversial calls – and the RFL have “held their hands up”.

But that is of little consolation to Wane now the game has been lost – he wants an improvement and has called on them to “fix up”.

“It’s something the RFL need to fix up. I’ve had a chat to them and they’re looking into it. They agreed with me, which is double the kick in the backside,” he said.

“It was poor (because) every single decision went against us, which is disappointing.

“The RFL have held their hands up and supported me, but we still lost the game.”
