Warrington bounce back, crushing the Robins

Warrington Wolves bounced back emphatically from defeat on Good Friday by smashing Hull KR 54-6 in East Yorkshire.

Warrington had the better of the first half after a slow start. Ben Crooks gave the home side the lead before Blake Austin equalised for the Wolves.

Tom Lineham then scored thanks to Austin’s pass before Joe Philbin latched onto Declan Patton’s grubber as Warrington went in 18-6 in front at the break.

But further tries from Josh Charnley, Bryson Goodwin, Toby King and Sitaleki Akauola, plus second tries for Lineham and Philbin pulled the Wolves well clear in the second half.
