Warrington “happy with what they’ve got”

Warrington Wolves head coach Tony Smith says he will go with what he has got for Super League 2015, despite the departure of long-serving prop Paul Wood earlier this week.

The club used Wood’s departure to bring in Andy Ackers on loan from Swinton, adding to the signings of Daryl Clark, Ashton Sims and Gary Wheeler for the new season.

And Smith says he doesn’t believe he needs any more, and if the squad stay fit, he’ll be happy to run without bringing anyone else in.

“We’ve looked at our squad and we’re not sure where to strengthen,” Smith said at the club’s pre-season media day.

“It’s competitive enough at the moment and, unless we have some injuries, we’re happy with what we’ve got.”
