Warrington Wolves fullback Stefan Ratchford has confirmed he will miss this Saturday’s trip to French outfit Catalans Dragons – but is targeting a return to the side for the Round Four clash against Hull Kingston Rovers.
Ratchford missed the Wolves’ World Club Series defeat to St George Illawarra Dragons due to a shoulder injury, with Kevin Penny stepping and playing the bulk of that game at fullback.
And he revealed on TV that he won’t be fit for the trip across the Channel this Saturday, with next Sunday’s visit of the Robins a more realistic target for him.
He told Sky Sports News HQ: “Hopefully I will be back next week. We have got a tough game against Hull KR.
“I am hoping to start running towards the end of the week and see how we go from there.”
