MAX WOOD has returned to Hull FC on a season-long loan from Warrington Wolves.
It’s hoped the move will allow the 22-year-old prop to earn regular game time with the Black and Whites, for whom he made five appearances across two loan spells this year.
He will also reunite with former Wolves assistant Steve McNamara, the incoming Hull head coach, at the MKM Stadium.
Wood, who made 13 appearances for Warrington this year, also spent time on loan in the Championship with Oldham.
Warrington will not be able to recall the young forward from his loan, and he will also be eligible to feature for the Black and Whites against his parent club whenever they meet next season.
Wood becomes Hull’s ninth recruit ahead of the new season, joining Bailey Hodgson, Daly Cherry-Evans, Alrix Da Costa, Isaac Liu, Jordan Swann, Josh Coric, Junior Pauga and Connor Barley.
