Rangi Chase stole the show as Salford thrashed Leigh at the weekend, and gained the plaudits of acting head coach Ian Watson in the process.
Chase was at his brilliant best and sealed victory for the Red Devils as he scored an incredible individual effort to clinch the match at 34-12.
It was the second week running where Chase proved to be the match winner, and Watson was quick to compliment his star half-back.
“We spoke to him at half-time about being more direct, and in the second-half you could see the results,” said Watson
“People struggle to deal with him on a daily basis in training, so you can imagine how people that only see him once a week cope – he was sensational for us today.”
