We’ll continue to entertain, insists Rowley

Leigh Centurions coach Paul Rowley has insisted that the business end of the season will not alter the way his team play – insisting that they will continue to entertain.

The Centurions have fast developed a reputation as one of the more exciting teams in the country to watch, evident in their incredible run to the Challenge Cup quarter-finals this year.

And Rowley says the intensity of the Qualifiers will not alter that mentality – saying that his team “like to have fun”.

“I think the brand that we play just suggests and explains we don’t really feel the pressure because we like to have fun. They are quite brave and daring in thin their approach to the game so we will continue to do that,” he told Sky Sports at the Super 8s launch.

He added: “It’s an entertainment business and we want to entertain and that’s evident in the support we are getting down at Leigh.”
