Salford Red Devils coach Iestyn Harris has insisted that despite a turbulent week, the club are ready for the challenge posed by Hull tonight.
Decimated by injuries and suspensions, the Red Devils took the unusual step of asking for tonight’s game at the KC Stadium to be postponed – a request which was turned down by Hull.
But despite that, Harris says that the challenge is one they are ready to take on against Lee Radford’s men – as well as pointing out how big a period these next few weeks could be.
“We’re ready to go,” Harris said. “We’re excited about a really good challenge for us.
“I think this is a really crucial period for us because, if we can pick up points when we are down on troops, we’re going to be fresh at the right end of the season. But it’s only good being fresh if you’ve got enough points on the board.”
