Wigan too good for Castleford

Wigan Warriors joined Wakefield, Warrington and Hull FC in the Challenge Cup semi-final following a 26-12 victory over Castleford.

A first-half blitz saw Wigan lead 22-0 at half-time with Dan Sarginson, Sam Tomkins and Josh Charnley (2), crossing to score.

Luke Gale pulled one back for Cas in the second-half, but Daryl Powell’s side never threatened a serious comeback. Dom Manfredi ended the game for good with a score, meaning Ben Crooks’ try was nothing but a consolation.
