Wigan Warriors have announced they will again partner with Championship side Workington Town during 2015.
The agreement will see members of Shaun Wane’s first team squad head to Workington throughout the season to gain experience on dual registration duty.
Last year several Wigan players including Greg Burke, Connor Farrell and Lewis Tierney spent time at the Cumbria club.
“We are delighted that we will be continuing our partnership with Workington Town for the 2015 season,” said Wigan general manager Kris Radlinski.

“We have had a number of partnerships over the years but this has undoubtedly been the best. It has been a reciprocal relationship that has seen us both benefit. The main thing for us is that the players have been looked after and have enjoyed playing for the town.
“Phil Veivers understands what Shaun Wane wants from his players so there is no confusion as to how they should be playing. We are very comfortable trusting Workington with our players and have certainly seen an improve in those that played there in 2014.”
