Wakefield have confirmed the signing of Anthony Tupou on a two-year deal.
Tupou, 31, joins the Wildcats from Cronulla Sharks, bringing an end to his 11 year NRL career. He started his career at Sydney Roosters before joining the Sharks in 2009.
Specialising in the pack, Tupou suffered a terrible jaw injury last season, but returned to action a few months later.

“The decision to leave home wasn’t easy for me,” said Tupou.
“But the opportunity to be a part of a club that is changing and building is really exciting to me.
“Playing in Super League is something I always knew I would do one day if I had the chance. The style of league here is refreshing and the unpredictability is what I love the most about it.
“I have made my choice to bring my family to commit and give it my all to Wakefield and the red, white and blue jersey. We have a big challenge ahead and it really would be good for us if more of the fans became members and show we’re all in this change together. I honestly cannot wait.”
