North Wales Crusaders have made their second signing of the off-season, bringing in Leigh forward Frankie Halton on a one-year loan.
Halton has impressed in the reserve grade at the Centurions, with head coach Paul Rowley now keen to boost his development with first-grade experience.
He will get that at North Wales, who are keen on going one step further and achieving promotion in 2016 after losing in the play-offs this year.
“Frankie will give us competition for places in that middle unit,” said Crusaders head coach Anthony Murray
“He’s a young lad, he’s come through a good system at Leigh and will come to the club with the right attributes.
“He wants to gain some first-team experience so he’ll be hungry to play and will buy into what we’re doing here at Crusaders.”
