Workington Town coach Phil Veivers is hoping to bring in at least one Super League loan player this week.
Veivers is keen to bolster his squad after having just 14 fit players for the Easter Monday game with Leigh, and eleven on the sidelines for that match.
Veivers said: “I’m in conversation with a number of Super League coaches trying to arrange loan deals.
“Hopefully I’ll have one in this week.
“We probably require two or three players to come in and give the joint a lift.
“It would freshen up the place and give some players a well-earned rest after what they’ve dished up the last few weeks. We’ve had a few bodies playing busted.”
