WORKINGTON TOWN began the Championship season badly, with three straight defeats, although since then they have held Keighley to an away draw and hammered Salford at home to sit in 15th place with three points from five games.
Last week they suffered a 12-28 home defeat to Newcastle Thunder in the 1895 Cup, which means they will now be able to concentrate on their league form. Their coach Jonty Gorley (pictured above) has made four changes to the side that lost at Newcastle, bringing back Steve Scholey, Jack Stephenson, Callum Phillips and Tuarae Rawhiti into his squad.
Rams coach Paul March makes only two changes to the squad that lost 8-20 at home to Barrow Raiders in Round 6, bringing in Jacob Hookem and Wakefield Trinity loanee Ellis Lingard into his squad for Jacob Parkinson and Jamie Gill.
The Rams currently lie in eighth place and will be anxious not to drop out of the top ten.
