BOTH Andy Djeukessi and Matty English are in line to make their York Knights debuts against St Helens on Saturday.

Winger Djeukessi is called up to the squad having impressed for partners Newcastle Thunder, whilst experienced forward English arrives in North Yorkshire on loan from Huddersfield for the remainder of the season.

Justin Sangare is also recalled from a spell with Newcastle, with Kieran Hudson, Will Dagger and David Nofoaluma – who failed a HIA in the closing stages of last week’s loss to Huddersfield – all dropping out.

St Helens have been handed a boost ahead of their first trip to the LNER Community Stadium, with Alex Walmsley returning from concussion protocols.

The popular front-rower, who has not featured since the Magic Weekend defeat to Wigan, is set to make his 300th Super League appearance.

Interim head coach Eamon O’Carroll also recalls young forwards Chris Matagi and Alfie Tate to the squad in place of Matty Evans (concussion), Jed Cartwright (quad) and George Delaney, who will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing shoulder surgery.
