when msn says we, he is not speaking for me, and Batley is a smashing club and i am not alone in thinking that. what you have achieved with your ground whilst maintaining your status on the field is to be envied. good luck
For goodness sake, are we clutching at straws or what?. Carvell has not been punching his weight this year. Lets have some young, enthusiastic lads on the park. I can put up with the occasional mistake if they are at least playing for the shirt. Dare bet that there are amateurs in area teams who would not be disgraced on the field.
Now the dust has settled somewhat we know who are the opposition for Next Season in our bid to reach SL. The first requirement is reaching the top four. The main opposition is: London, Bradford and Leigh. There is going to be one almighty scramble for that fourth place. Do you think our recruitment so far is good enough to face this opposition? If not where do we need strengthening and where is that to come from. Finally have we enough brass to do it.. I still feel our finances are open to question, do you?
Colin mate, you seem determined to get a debate going about our finances, when none of us knows what our financial situation is. if it's anything like our house, only Campbells wife will know
On of best hookers in the league shame he got injured lets hope he's going no where
love watching George play, reminds me of Gary Rose with his enthusiasm for the game. loves scoring and celebrating tries, and beats himself up if he thinks he's not played well.if he wasn't a pro, i'm sure he would be playing in the park on a sunday, lads like him just love the game
Bens been fantastic this season, he's worn the shirt with so much pride, as fans that's all we ask.
He's one of the few players that has worked out over the years for us under duel reg.
I'm sure he's heading for better things in the game, if given his chance at Cas or a similar standing club.
I'd love to see him in a Knights shirt but would imagine that it might not be the case as he's got far more ability to play at a higher standard.
Good luck to Ben and yourself. It's been a pleasure watching him, hope he's enjoyed his time with our club.
he''s certainly enjoyed his time at York, and i'm sure he has made friends for life. i also think there are a number of young players in that team who have a bright future in the game. aside from the obvious ones, i am keen to see how young Harry Carter develops.
