  1. It was an enquiry....wasn't looking for 'a story'....
  2. Slightly off topic, but we trumpeted the arrival of Jacob Bateman on a season-long loan, had a fair game v Bradford, then didn't get picked v Eagles and now he's picked in Bulls reserves....what gives?
  3. Agree BullyXL, if you look back to JK's previous tenure it was an exact copy; stick with the plan, performance intensifies at the game goes on, strangle the opposition into submission then just take over. It worked on Sunday, Eagles were blowing by about 50 minutes their forwards didn't come after that, not as a pack anyway, just individual efforts.
  4. Gill got tries 1 and 4. Although James Chapman and Benny Kaye were still in charge, clearly JK had impressed his requirements on them and the players and the game followed the Kear pattern we are already used to. Watch the highlights, some keep telling me they're not convinced about our no1, but he dealt with every kick, even the one coming down with an ice spiral on it and watch the pass to put Gill in at the top corner....
  5. White, always looked for the break and handled superbly today. Brown, immense up front display, rolled a few years back today, probably the oldest man on the field and spent a good amount of time out there in the heat. After much consideration of several names; Walshaw. The whole back line in my opinion was very impressive, Gill threw everything at it, I don't think he knows how to play any other way, who ever he's playing for, Liu didn't get much ball but was impressive in the tackle. Both we could use for longer than a fortnight!
  6. MoM v Bradford Manning. 17 votes. 3pts Moore. 11 votes. 2pts Parsons/ Greensmith. 5 votes, no joint points White. 3 votes Brown. 1 vote Totaliser. Manning. 14pts Woods. 13pts Greensmith. 12pts Brown. 11pts Moore. 9pts Leak. 8pts Butterworth. 7pts Ward/Kear. 5pts Parsons. 4pts White/ Myers/ Flynn. 3pts High. 2pts.
  7. Neither High nor Myers played for Trinity.
  8. So what did Render pick up at Bradford? Is Woods going to do it?
  9. I hope that the new loanees are ready to put a shift in, some of the others have simply turned up. JK can run the rule and see who he thinks can do the job he wants or if he needs to look further.

Although Kev says he won't be immediately involved I think he should be in the dressing room and dugout on Sunday. For all we take the rise, Kev has done exactly the right thing, he's brought in the best motivator in the game.

Sn arm-wrestle KTF, as was his favourite phrase!!
  13. A usually reliable source, fortunately wrong this time.
  14. On the piece where Bateman came off, the lad sat down was Render, rumoured broken leg.

It depends what appetite he has left. Seeing as Trinity are our partners though ....we could get a DR coach!!
