I think the scoreline flattered us a bit but today we did take our chances.Hooley was Ok at full back and he kicked some very good goals from wide out.I did think Fax's first try came from a forward pass.Bussey is slowly finding his form and worked hard. Wynne took his tries well even if they didn't require much from him.Thought both scrum halves played well.Turner is not your typical number 7 he is not involved in the whole 80 min.He tends to play in phases but i like what he has to offer.Good pair of hands and he nearly always beats the first man with a step.The second man too in many cases he has a rugby brain that's for sure.The game did lack a bit of quality from both sides but i enjoyed the game.

Hunslet was the same loads old stock houses a community that had pulled together through two world wars,Thriving Rugby League team better than Leeds pubs greyhound track plus Parkside which catered for rugby and cricket.Raised the houses to ground community dispersed to council estates and the fabric of society broken up.Ground sold by directors and Hunslet had to relocate.At one time every young un in East Leeds wanted to play for Hunslet.How times have changed.

So pleased no one scored in golden point time.Both teams deserved a point each in a game that kept interest levels throughout.Leigh deserved a point and how could you deprive Cas of one after showing such grit in keep coming back into it.

Looking forward to the game Sunday.i think we are favourites but Fax have pulled a few shock wins at P.O.R. over the years.A win by 8 or more would be a good result for us.Difficult at the moment with unsettled team selection week to week but it is out of our hands really.

A minute left and Huddersfield play as if they are in front .They needed to throw the ball about after the first tackle to have any chance of scoring.Salford deserved it by more than 2 points.Disagteed with both obstruction calls on the disallowed tries.

Wigan stepped up the energy levels in the second half.Most pleasing thing about their performance for me was the chip over and try from Smith and the kick over for the last try.Players allowed to play what they see rather than stick to a rigid game plan with no invention.

I know Huddersfield and Hull FC got in through the back door.Someone must have left it open.And as previous poster said Widnes and Featherstone were locked out for PSG and London.

This looks the game to watch.But Sheffield v Wakefield is the pick of Friday nights games.

I am afraid the days of Fev away support of 700 to 800 are gone for good with no chance of promotion.Plenty will go to Batley as it is usually a good day out and match atmosphere.And Wakey away we will have good away support as it is a local derby.But i fear other Championship clubs will be worse off from less travelling support and i can't see it improving over time.

I just think that Championship and League 1 teams are at a distinct disadvantage when grading points are given to present SL teams.

To be fair you would have to double the championship average to be comparable to SL.ie if Leigh averaged 4000 in the Championship it would equate to a SL average of 8000.But IMG wont allow that.

I wasn't criticising using loan players we clearly need them and they improve the team strength.And i like KR as a club it's good to see two ex Championship teams in them and Leigh doing well in SL.I thought Haven would be a difficult game and also had Barrow away somwhere we always seem to do well at as potential losses.The way Barrow are playing at the moment we should be ok up there.
