Hull FC coach Lee Radford has revealed that he would be content if the club didn’t make any further recruitment for the 2016 season.
After the departure of Joe Westerman to Warrington, the Black and Whites have money to play with in the transfer market, but Motu Tony told League Express two weeks ago that they would not be spending that money just for the sake of it.
And now Radford has reiterated that he’s happy with the state of his squad, and if nothing materialises in the transfer market it won’t concern him.
“I’m more than happy with the squad. If something does pop up, Adam (Pearson, FC owner) has publicly said that the finances are there. If nothing pops up, then I’m not concerned one bit,” Radford told the Hull Daily Mail.
“We are excited with the signings we have made and it will be great when they finally arrive. But we have a good group at the club already as well,” Radford added.
“We are just hoping that they can add to the group. If they do, hopefully we can progress as a team.”
