Lee Radford heaped praise on debutant Frank Pritchard after he put in a wonderful display in Hull FC’s 60-20 hammering of rivals Hull KR.
Pritchard was magnificent throughout, setting up three tries in a dazzling display in the pack.
His performance earned him plenty of plaudits, none more so than from his new head coach.
“He was massive, Frank,” said Radford.
“He’s box office, I never got that round of applause when I came on to the field! He has that influence on the group, the session came to a standstill during his first training session with the team – he’s a great personality and he looks like he’s enjoying his rugby at the minute.
“It was very pleasing for me to see that we finished our moves off. We focused on our attack throughout pre-season; we haven’t had an issue breaking the line last year we had an issue putting them to bed. Its only one game we won’t get carried away but there was a big improvement that’s for sure.”
