Catalans revival continues with win over Salford

Jodie Broughton scored a hat-trick against his former club as Catalans secured a pivotal 26-12 win over Salford.

The Dragons moved off the bottom of the table and into ninth place in the table, just two points adrift of eighth-placed Salford.

Weller Hauraki put the Red Devils in front, but Steve McNamara’s side stormed back as Ben Garcia and Julien Bousquet scored before the break.

Catalans’ momentum continued in the second-half as Broughton secured the win with his treble, with Salford only replying via a late George Griffin consolation.
