Anthony Seibold has been named Brisbane Broncos coach from 2020 onwards.
Seibold has managed South Sydney Rabbitohs excellently in 2018 seeing the club reach the top four and the Preliminary Finals of the NRL. He will continue to coach the club in 2019.
As is the case with Wayne Bennett. The England head coach will leave his role as Brisbane Broncos coach at the end of next year in order to take up the role vacated by Seibold in Sydney.
“Anthony was a stand-out. His football knowledge is exceptional, as is his thinking and process around people management,” said Brisbane Broncos Chairman Karl Morris.
“He also has a strong commitment that will add to the commercial and community aspects of our club, which is extremely important to the Brisbane Broncos.”
