Batley Bulldogs player Brandon Moore found safe after being reported missing

BATLEY BULLDOGS player Brandon Moore has been found safe after being reported missing by his wife.

Moore, 28, was absent for their Championship match against Toulouse Olympique today (Saturday) despite being named in their squad.

He had not been seen since the previous day and his wife Mara had issued a plea on social media for help finding him.

On Saturday evening she said: “Brandon Moore is finally safe and found by dad and friends… He’s in safe hands.”

Batley also put out a statement saying: “He is a huge part of our group and loved by all. We will support him in any way we can.”

Moore, who is originally from Cumbria, lives in Castleford and the couple have three children.

He played for eight years at Halifax Panthers, captaining them to an 1895 Cup final win in 2023 before joining Batley the following year.
