London Rugby League community award winners revealed

THE legendary former Australian international Darren Lockyer and the famous PDRL international Adam Hills were chief guests at the prestigious London Rugby League Community Club Awards.

Sixteen grassroots clubs were represented by more than 100 members, together with a host of London Broncos supporters.

The outstanding achievements of a dozen volunteers (from more than 70 nominations) from ten different clubs were recognised, indicating the strength and breadth of community Rugby League in the region.

Funds from the event will be used by the London Rugby League Foundation to help directly to support Community Rugby League in the capital and its surrounds, including organising talent pathways, overseeing the Girls’ Futures scheme and supporting London Broncos Women, in addition to engaging in broader community projects.
