Goole Vikings were the League Express Team of the Week after their Challenge Cup their round victory at Halifax Panthers, and they now await the fourth-round clash with Warrington Wolves next month.

But on Saturday they will face a strong challenge from Midlands Hurricanes, with both teams having won one game out of two.

The Vikings have put a strong squad together, recently having strengthened with experience stars Liam Watts, Will Jubb and Andre Savelio, the latter on loan from Doncaster.

The Hurricanes are hoping to bounce back from a late defeat by Keighley Cougars in the third round of the Cup and they have already registered a strong victory against Doncaster. They also have players with Super League experience, such as Oliver Roberts, Toby Warren and Zach Jenson and they will be anxious to consolidate their top-ten challenge.

The clash will see two non-traditional clubs battling for dominance and it should attract a four-figure crowd to the Victoria Pleasure Gardens for a rare 3.00pm Saturday kick-off.
