RYAN CARR has insisted that Zac Cini remains a key part of the Castleford Tigers squad, after speculation linking the Australian with Bradford Bulls.
Cini was dropped for Castleford’s 24-14 win over Wigan Warriors, with youngster Jenson Windley preferred at fullback.
And earlier this week, Love Rugby League reported that the 25-year-old was being hunted by Bradford, who were looking to offload an overseas player in order to make room on their quota.
However, Carr was keen to emphasise that Cini remains part of the Tigers’ squad.
“Zac is part of our squad at the moment,” Carr said.
“I don’t read the media so I’m not sure what people are saying outside of our organisation.
“As it stands, he is part of our squad this weekend and that’s the way it will be.”
