BATLEY BULLDOGS have added playmakers Mitch Beedle and Ben Dean to their squad on permanent deals.
Beedle (above), who has played in Castleford Tigers’ scholarship, academy and reserve teams, can feature at halfback or fullback.
Batley said: “Known for his sharp skill set and abundance of speed, he adds further depth and exciting attacking options to the team.”
Dean was released by Keighley Cougars, where he made 17 appearances, earlier this month and joins Batley after making an appearance for reformed North Wales Crusaders two weeks ago.
The Bulldogs sit eleventh in the Championship, outside the play-off positions on points difference, ahead of Sunday’s visit from North Wales Crusaders.
