MARSHALL LAND has signed a new two-year deal with Huddersfield Giants.
Land made his first-team debut against Wakefield Trinity last season, and went on to make another appearance in 2025.
His signing follows the retention of Jacob Algar, another Academy graduate of the Huddersfield Giants system, though Land has yet to make an appearance in 2026.
Upon signing his new deal, Land said: “I’m buzzing to sign for an extra two years, I sat down with my Dad and agent and we finalised it and i’m very happy to have it all signed and sealed.
“The Academy staff, such as Daz and Foxy, then Leroy and Finny have really helped with my development, the pathway here at the club is great and i’ve had the players such as Tui, Clune and Russ to learn from.”
Andy Kelly, Director of Rugby, commented on the retention: “Similar to Jacob (Algar), signing Marshall to a longer contract was a crucial one to get over the line and we’re delighted he’s staying for the next few years.
“he has huge potential and we’re looking forward to helping him develop and hopefully reach that potential.”
