TOULOUSE OLYMPIQUE coach Sylvain Houles says star fullback Olly Ashall-Bott is returning to fitness but hasn’t placed a timescale on his return.
Ashall-Bott hasn’t featured since a loss to Catalans Dragons last month, with Luke Polselli filling in for the past four matches including the 32-12 victory away to Hull KR on Saturday.
“We are quite fit and the big injury we have had is Olly Ashall-Bott but he is getting back to fitness,” said Houles.
“I don’t know if we will see him next weekend (Toulouse host Bradford Bulls on Saturday); he is back running but there is no rush. I am more than happy with the 17 that turned out (at Hull KR).”
Houles also commented on the season which has seen Toulouse return to Super League for the first time since 2022.
“I am definitely pleased with how the season has turned out. The two points, which gave us our eighth win in our first season back, is huge.
“With three games left it seems that we travel better than we play at home, with six away wins and only two at home, so hopefully we can put in another couple of good performances starting with Bradford next weekend and then Hull FC at home.
“It would be nice to reward our fans who will be there.”
