BRADFORD BULLS have agreed a deal to keep Jack Ormondroyd permanently next season.
The 34-year-old prop has been on loan from Oldham since March, although he has been limited to nine appearances through hand and ankle injuries.
A veteran of more than 100 Super League appearances over previous top-flight spells with Leeds Rhinos and Salford Red Devils, Ormondroyd has signed a one-year Bulls contract.
Bradford coach Kurt Haggerty, who was Salford assistant for part of Ormondroyd’s time there, said: “Jack started to find his feet before he got injured and he showed he can still play at this level.
“He knows what I expect so he is perfect to keep around for another twelve months.”
Ormondroyd, who grew up in Bradford and trialled for the Bulls’ academy, said: “I have come full circle.
“I have always wanted to play for Bradford and had never had the opportunity to do so, so to be able to do that in Super League is special.
“I am really looking forward to getting a full pre-season under my belt, kicking on next year and hopefully have a good year injury-free.”
Oldham will also lose Australian halfback Josh Drinkwater at the end of the season.
