HUDDERSFIELD GIANTS have extended the contract of homegrown winger Lewis Jagger through to the end of 2029.
Jagger, 19, made a try-scoring first-team debut against Leigh Leopards last September and has been a regular since Jim Lenihan’s arrival as coach, making a further ten appearances and scoring three more times.
“Jags is a kid of high ability and high capability,” said Huddersfield’s director of rugby, Andy Kelly.
“He’s had to step into the side quite prematurely and he’s more than adequately equipped himself.
“Everyone at the club is excited to see him develop, as a lad that has come through the academy system.”
Jagger, who can also play at centre or fullback, said: “I like the confidence that Jim has given to us all and myself especially.”
