CASTLEFORD TIGERS are eyeing up a move for Warrington Wolves forward Adam Holroyd, Total Rugby League understands.
Love Rugby League reported on Tuesday that Super League clubs have been made aware of the 22-year-old’s availability, and the Tigers are one of those considering a deal.
With Alex Mellor departing for Catalans Dragons and Joe Stimson going back home to Australia, Castleford are notably short in the back-row.
Bringing in Holroyd would go some way to alleviating that dilemma for new Tigers boss Paul Rowley as Castleford hunt a much better campaign in 2027 than the one in 2026 when they finished 13th.
Holroyd debuted for Warrington in 2022 and has gone on to make 54 appearances, scoring eight tries.
He did, however, play just eight times during the 2026 campaign after finding himself behind Sam Stone, James Bentley and Kelepi Tanginoa in the pecking order following injury.
