Hull KR hooker John Boudebza wants England’s games against France to continue despite a thumping defeat last weekend.
The French lost 84-4 at Leigh after Steve McNamara’s men scored 15 tries to a solitary effort from the French in reply.
But Hull KR star Boudebza thinks that the concept of England v France needs to continue, and says that there should be more games between the two in a bid to increase competitiveness.
“I think we should play more games against England. If we play every year, like in the past, it could work in our favour,” Boudebza told the Hull Daily Mail.
“We only tend to play one major game each year, against England. In the past, it was every year, maybe once or twice, and we need to have that again.
“We know now after this game where we are in terms of progression.
“We now know what we need to do ahead of the World Cup in two years.”
