Brough impressed by new Giants signings

Huddersfield captain Danny Brough has praised the four new signings made by Giants coach Paul Anderson.

The West Yorkshire club have spent shrewdly so far this off-season, adding promising Bradford academy product Oliver Roberts and Wigan prop Jack Hughes to Castleford duo Jamie Ellis and Craig Huby.

“I’ve been really impressed with the way everyone’s got stuck in from day one,” said Brough, who was presented with his Albert Goldthorpe Medal last week.

“The training’s been good and of a very high quality.

“All the boys look in good shape and there’s already a great deal of excitement about our prospects for next season.

“The new boys have also settled in really well and will be very strong additions to the squad.

“Jack’s obviously been here for less time than the other new boys, but in the very short time he’s been here he’s shown up well in training.”
