Castleford Tigers coach Daryl Powell has confirmed that star winger Denny Solomona could be set to miss up to a month’s worth of action.
Solomona picked up an ankle injury during the win against Wakefield last weekend, and after being sent for a scan, Castleford now know the extent of the injury.
“Denny’s got a grade two syndesmosis injury, which is three or four weeks potentially, so hopefully he will be the lower end of that,” said Powell.
“Nathan Massey’s had a similar injury and he’s looking okay at the moment. If we can get Denny back in a similar sort of timescale then it won’t be too bad.
“He’s been playing well, no question about that, he’s been scoring some great tries and done some high quality things so it’s not great to lose him.”
