Another of this afternoon’s pre-season friendlies – the derby between Castleford and Featherstone has been called off due to inclement weather.
In a statement, the Tigers said: “Castleford Tigers can confirm that following an inspection, unfortunately todays’ match at Featherstone Rovers has been postponed.
“Despite initial hopes that the match would go ahead, officials announced on Sunday morning that the pitch is waterlogged.”
