Castleford Tigers winger James Clare is set to return to the side for this weekend’s trip to Widnes Vikings, after being included in Daryl Powell’s 19-man squad for the game.
Clare will likely be a direct replacement for winger Justin Carney, who was ruled out for between 6-8 weeks earlier this week after it was confirmed he needs elbow surgery.
There are not expected to be many other changes from Powell, whose side defeated Hull KR last time out to make it four wins from their last five games.
