Hull KR winger Ben Cockayne says he’s excited to be playing against former club Wakefield Wildcats this weekend, but claims it’s going to be difficult to take the points off them.
“I’m pretty excited about it,” the TotalRL.com columnist told the Rovers’ official website.

“It’ll be a tough old test for us though as Wakefield seem to be coming into their own a bit. They gave Saints a good run for their money last weekend and in the two games previous to that came up with 50 point wins. So it will be tough, but it’s a game that I’m really looking forward to.
“I’ve been to pass on some little bits here and there. Obviously I played with a lot of those boys for two years and they’re all top quality players. I don’t see any major weaknesses, but I can pass on information about which hand a certain player will carry the ball in or which foot they step off.”
Cockayne also spoke of his satisfaction at deputising at full-back to great effect last week in place of the injured Greg Eden.
“I was quite pleased with my performance and it’s been two or three years since I played in the fullback role,” he said.
“There are a few things I need to work on if I’m going to play there again but I did enjoy it last week and will do the job again if asked to. I just love playing Rugby League so whether I’m at prop, fullback, on the wing or wherever, I’ll enjoy myself.”
