Salford Red Devils owner Marwan Koukash has revealed that as well as assistant coach Ian Watson, former player Martin Gleeson may also play against Hull FC this Friday.
The Red Devils appealed to have Friday’s match against FC called off, a request which as since been turned down.
And, speaking in his weekly column with the Manchester Evening News, Koukash has revealed that more than one member of Iestyn Harris’ coaching staff could feature this weekend.
Gleeson retired from Rugby League last season.
“Like I say, I will probably have to double up as the water carrier at Hull,” said Koukash.
“We will play and I would not be surprised to see Ian Watson and Martin Gleeson from the coaching staff named in the squad.
“We have at least been told this can be sanctioned.”
