Crookes charged for Magic Weekend high tackle

Hull FC star Jason Crookes has been charged with a Grade B careless high tackle on Liam Salter of Hull Kingston Rovers in the 49th minute of their Magic Weekend fixture at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday May 17.

Crookes does not have the option of submitting an Early Guilty Plea and will appear before an independent Disciplinary Tribunal on Tuesday evening.

The RFL Match Review Panel also issued cautions to the following players:
Dominic Crosby (Wigan Warriors) – dangerous throw in the 34th minute v Leeds Rhinos
Gareth Hock (Salford Red Devils) – raising the knee in a tackle in the first minute v Widnes Vikings
Kirk Yeaman (Hull FC) – dangerous throw in the 10th minute v Hull KR
