Crowther signs new Wakefield deal

Jordan Crowther has signed a new one-year deal with Wakefield.

The 21-year old signed his first-team contract back in 2014 as a 17-year old and has made 23 appearances so far.

He was a regular throughout their Super 8s campaign, impressing Chris Chester enough to be offered a new deal.

“I am really happy with extending my contract with Wakefield,” he said.

“It is my hometown Club so it always means a lot playing here. I am really looking forward to next year and hopefully kicking on from last season to get more regular game time.”

Head Coach Chris Chester commented added: “I am delighted that Jordy has signed a one-year deal at the club, he’s had to wait patiently for his chance and this season he has had the opportunity to finish off the season really strong. I look forward to seeing him grow and develop as a player.”
