CATALANS DRAGONS have released their 2026 squad numbers, two days before they will face Toulouse Olympique on Friday night at the Stade Gilbert Brutus in their only pre-season game.
The Dragons’ squad shows multiple changes from the squad that failed to reach the play-offs in 2025, with only four players – Tommy Makinson, Nick Cotric, Julian Bousquet and Benjamin Garcia – retaining top-13 squad numbers.
The other nine starting positions are taken up by six newcomers – Charlie Staines, Solomona Faataape, Manase Kaho, Toby Sexton, Lewis Dodd and Ben Condon – while the remaining three places go to players – Tevita Satae, Alrix da Costa and Franck Maria – who have been promoted from positions that were outside the top 13 in 2025.
There are four other newly-arrived English players in the squad – Phoenix Laulu-Togaga’e (14 from Hull KR), Harvey Wilson (18 from Salford), Kruise Leeming (19 from Wigan) and Josh Simm (22 from Castleford).
