LOOKING back over the 2025 Super League season, it was a record-breaking year.
The campaign went on to break the all-time cumulative attendance record for a 12-team competition, which was previously set in 2008 and teams such as Wigan Warriors and Wakefield Trinity registered their largest crowds for a number of years.
But, just what was every Super League club’s average attendance during the 2025 campaign?
12th – Huddersfield Giants – 4,225
At the bottom of the pile, Huddersfield Giants suffered on and off the field, registering an average of just 4,225 at the Accu Stadium and winning just seven games.
11th – Salford Red Devils – 4,235
To say Salford Red Devils were in strife in 2025 is an understatement, but still their hardy band of followers still turned up to ensure they didn’t finish last on this list even if they did on the Super League ladder.
10th – Castleford Tigers – 6,844
After securing an average of 8,000 in 2024, Castleford Tigers slipped down over 1,000 fans after a dreadful season in which they finished second bottom.
9th – Wakefield Trinity – 7,787
Unlike nearest rivals Castleford, Wakefield Trinity were able to grow their crowds considerably. A play-off position under head coach Daryl Powell shocked Super League and their fans responded in kind.
8th – Catalans Dragons – 8,661
Despite one of their worst seasons in recent years, Catalans Dragons still managed to pull in over 8,500 fans on average to the Stade Gilbert Brutus.
7th – Leigh Leopards – 8,825
If there is one club that continues to rise on and off the field then it is the Leigh Leopards. Owner Derek Beaumont has ensured the Leigh Sports Village is an entertainment hub on gameday and an average of just under 9,000 is testament to the hard work Beaumont and his staff have put in over the years.
6th – Warrington Wolves – 10,500
Warrington Wolves continued to boast impressive attendances in 2025 regardless of the on-field product. Finishing outside the play-offs and still maintaining an average of 10,500 is something not to be sniffed at.
5th – Hull KR – 11,182
Sell-out after sell-out at Craven Park, Hull KR have become the team and club to beat both on and off the field. The actual only trouble with that is is that Rovers’ ground may not be big enough to fulfil the city’s appetite.
4th – St Helens – 11,618
St Helens have nearly always managed crowds of over five figures and 2025 was no different. An average of 11,618 was enough to finish in fourth in this list.
3rd – Hull FC – 12,159
There was great optimism amongst the terraces of the MKM Stadium for the first time in a while as new head coach John Cartwright sought to build bridges with the fans. And an average of 12,159 proves that his rallying cry was a big hit with the Hull FC supporters.
2nd – Leeds Rhinos – 14,999
Somehow Leeds Rhinos missed out on an average of 15,000 by just one supporter. However, consistently impressive crowds at Headingley has been a surefire thing for many a year now.
1st – Wigan Warriors – 17,145
Out in front and by some distance, Wigan Warriors excelled at the Brick Community Stadium in 2025 as the club looks to build on an incredible 17,145 average in 2026.
