Ex-Castleford Tigers man Judah Rimbu finds new club

FORMER Castleford Tigers man Judah Rimbu has found a new club with the Brisbane Tigers.

Having started his career in the Queensland Cup with PNG Hunters, Rimbu returned to them after being let go by Castleford midway through last season.

The PNG international, who has been capped six times by his nation, initially joined the Tigers on a two-year deal ahead of the 2025 Super League campaign.

However, Rimbu would play just ten times before departing midway through last season where he would again link up with the Hunters.

Now, he will once more play alongside former Castleford prop Sylvester Namo at the Brisbane Tigers after the Queensland Cup side announced the 24-year-old’s capture on social media.

Rimbu made 78 appearances for the Hunters between 2021 and 2025, scoring 25 tries and kicking 11 goals.
