Fages filled Chase’s shoes nicely, says Noble

Salford Red Devils coach Brian Noble has praised French stand-off Theo Fages after he impressed in Saturday’s win against London while covering for injured Rangi Chase.

The 19-year-old international socred two tries and set up a couple more as the Red Devils took down the Broncos 18-44.

“It is a tough ask for any player to step in for Rangi Chase and Theo did really well,” said Noble.

“He showed the value that he has to us. He has not had much game time and I was really pleased with what he did for us today.”
