I'm amazed Wakefield have spent £1.3m. Their squad is the best in the championship but I agree that reflects the lack of talent in the league. I do think it'll be a better competition than the last few years however. The Wakefield squad isn't a patch on the Leigh squad that won the championship to say the costs are similar.

Taylor was a disappointment for me. I expect him to look a cut above the rest of the squad, a real ball handling, line breaking forward, but whether due to coaching or ability, became just another plodder.
