  1. Math? You only have one math in Australia? Off topic but intetesting nonetheless.
  2. No. It'd be a nightmare to schedule and ensure each club's games were a minimum five days apart.
  3. Ironically, because there's less of them, they're getting about the same.
  4. Effectively, he's not getting paid when he's off work suspended. Which can be seen as fair enough. Club doesn't benefit from his services, he doesn't benefit from his wages.
  5. It might be pedantry but, if you lived on another planet, you wouldn't get a decent terrestrial TV signal.
  6. Only while you're doing the Court's CSO. They're hardly likely to send a fella to stay with him 24/7.
  7. I missed the bit about the "club ordered community service". Where was that?
  8. I read it as every TV deal is split 78:13:9. The downside is that it implicitly assumes that the income will come from Superleague matches. In which case Superleague generously give 22% to the other divisions. What we have with this deal is the Championship clubs are being asked to generously give 87% to the other divisions. Which reduces their incentive to accept somewhat. Having said that, the whole article is vague.
  9. You're right. The point's made that Superleague clubs would not be happy if the deal were rejected as they take 78%. But there's not much of an incentive for Championship clubs to accept if they only get 13% of £50000. That's only £6500 - presumably to share between them. And we don't know details of the downside - would Premier dictate when the games are played? Hopefully not at that fee level. The upside is the TV exposure but how widespread would that be? Lots of unknowns here.
  10. If you read the pieces, Whitehaven say they'll fine him (not sure that's lawful, but.....). Who should have made him do rehab? Court? Club?
  11. In real life, people can lose their jobs over convictions. https://www.sunderlandecho.com/news/crime/sheffield-wednesday-fan-sentenced-for-mocking-bradley-lowery-at-sunderland-match-4414277
  12. The bulk maybe, but the day-to-day debts won't be so secured.
  13. It's not so much about assets and liabilities as about ability to meet current obligations. The last accounts show Fev's assets exceed their liabilities, though things may have deteriorated in the last 15 months. We don't know.
  14. Buy? Does that mean an offer to the hundreds of shareholders?
  15. Correct. I'd never say Wigan Warriors, Leeds Rhinos or Huddersfield Giants.
  16. I wouldn't have counted Hull KR but you did specifically mention warm-up games in your post.
  17. There's a link at the end of the video.
